MAT 2024 Exam
The All India Management Association (AIMA) is a non-profit organization that conducts the national-level entrance exam Management Ability Test (MAT). The MAT exam screens students for admission to postgraduate programs like MBA, PGDM, and allied programs in various specializations and facilitates individuals' and organizations' realization of potential. The exam is conducted four times a year - February, May, August, & December in two modes namely, Paper-Based Test, and Computer-Based Test. The exam score is valid for one year, and the best score is accepted from multiple attempts. The exam score is accepted by 600+ Business Schools and Universities all over the country.
The MAT exam has five sections mainly consisting of topics on Language Comprehension, Intelligence & Critical Reasoning, Mathematical Skills, Data Analysis & Sufficiency, and Economic & Business Environment. The exam is conducted in various test centers on the scheduled dates all over the country. Candidates interested in registering for the exam can register online through the official website before the deadline.

MAT Exam 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Every exam specifies certain criteria which a candidate has to fulfil in order to appear for the exam, same applies to MAT as well. The eligibility criteria for the MAT exam are as follows:
- Candidate has to be a graduate in any discipline from a recognized university.
- Candidates appearing for final exam in undergraduate degree can also apply.
- There is no age limit.
- No work experience required.
MAT Registration & Application Process
The eligible candidates can register for the MAT exam by filling in the online application form released on the official website. The necessary steps which a candidate has to follow are:
- Candidate has to visit the website: https://mat.aima.in
- click on Register button to register yourself for MAT.
- Fill the details to create Log In. You must have a valid email ID and mobile number for applying online to receive the OTP for email ID and mobile number verification.
- Press the “Register” button, a verification link will be sent to your email ID; click the “Verify” tab to verify yourself. This tab shall take you to your dashboard for MAT.
- The confirmation message along with account details for your reference will be sent to your email after verification.
The steps to fill application form are:
- Test mode details: choose one or maximum test modes.
- Upload a recent passport size color photograph which is in .jpg or .jpeg format and upload scanned digital signature in .jpg or .jpeg format. The photograph size should not be less than 10kB and more than 50KB, whereas the image of the signature should not be less than 5kB and more than 20kB.
- Choose management institutes-the candidates opting for double test modes will have the benefit of selecting 2 extra MIs for sending their scores.
- Make Payment: after selecting MIs, you are directed to a payment page.
- Fill personal particulars, qualifications and Experience details in the application.
- Review and then submit the application, and take printout of the same.
MAT Exam 2024 Application Fees
The MAT authorities have different fee structure when a candidate opts one mode of exam and if he/she opts two modes of exam. The details of the application fees for the paper-based test and Computer-based test are:

Application fees have to be paid with Credit Card/Debit Card (ATM Card), Net Banking, UPI and Paytm wallet options.
Note:
- Candidates can opt for an additional mode of test (e.g. PBT+CBT, CBT + CBT) by paying an extra fee of ?1500/- in addition to ?2100/-.
- Candidates opting for additional test will have the benefit of selecting additional 2 Management Institutes for sending their scores in addition to existing option of selecting 5 Management Institutes, i.e. they can select 7 Management Institutes in total.
MAT Exam 2024 Pattern
The important details of exam such as exam duration, number of sections, total questions, marking scheme, etc. are specified in the exam pattern. MAT Exam 2024 Results
The results for MAT exam conducted during December 2024 can be expected during 1st week of the January 2025. The candidates can download their scorecard by following these steps:

- Log in to the MAT dashboard using log in credentials.
- Click on MAT result notification
- Download & take a printout of the scorecard for further use.
