The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) conducts an entrance exam for admission to the MBA in International Business postgraduate course. The IIFT entrance exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on behalf of the IIF institute. The entrance exam is similar to the other national MBA entrance exam. The online application for registration to the MBA course at IIFT Institute will be released on 27 October 2024. The exam is a computer-based test mode that is held in 60-plus cities in India. The institute accepts admission of foreign/ NRI/ PIO candidates based on GMAT scores. The syllabus of this exam is similar to the other MBA entrance exams.
The IIFT Exam syllabus includes the same topics as that of the syllabus of other competitive exams. The syllabus includes four sections which are Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension (VARC), Quantitative Aptitude (QA), Logical Reasoning & Data Interpretation (DILR), and General Knowledge.

The exam pattern of IIFT entrance is conducted online by the National Testing Agency, which is an exam conducting body of IIFT. The exam is conducted for 120 minutes duration with no sectional time limit. The question paper comprises 110 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) with 3 marks allotted for each correct answer in sections 1, 2, 3, and 1.5 marks for each correct answer in section 4. The total mark for the exam is 300 with -1 negative marking for each wrong question in sections 1, 2, and 3 and -0.5 negative marking for each wrong question in section 4.
