A national-level test, the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is conducted by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and seven Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) working together with the National Coordination Board (NCB)-GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India.GATE is an important test for those students who intend to have great careers or advanced studies in Textile Engineering and Fibre Science (TF).
