What is the IBSAT Examination?
IBSAT is a ICFAI Business School Aptitude Test conducted by ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education affiliated by UGC . This is a National-level entrance examination for admission of postgraduate courses like MBA/PGDM in IBS campuses. The exam will be conducted on 28, 29 December 2024.
The eligibility criteria for applying for IBSAT are as follows:
- The candidates must have a Bachelor's degree with 50% aggregate from any discipline from a recognised university.
- The candidate must have English language proficiency.
- Candidates appearing for final semester exams also can apply for the exam.
- No age limit is mentioned.
The interested candidates can apply till the third week of December 2024 on the official website. The syllabus, exam pattern details shall be discussed in this article.
Section-Wise IBSAT Syllabus 2024
The IBSAT is an entrance exam for postgraduate courses so the syllabus is divided into four sections which are namely Verbal Ability, Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Aptitude, Data Adequacy & Data Interpretation. The topics covered each section are as follows:

The IBSAT exam is very simple the details of the exam duration, marks allotment, general cut off required are explained in detail as follows:

- Duration of Exam: 2 hrs(120 mins)

- Total Number of questions: 140
- Total Marks: 140
- Marks Allotted: 1 mark for each question
- Language Of Exam: English
- The cut off for IBS Hyderabad is about 70 -75 marks out of 140 marks.
