What is the MICAT Exam?
MICAT is a national-level entrance examination conducted by MICA, Ahmedabad, for admission to the Post Graduate Diploma in Management-Communications and other programs in strategic marketing and communications. MICAT is conducted twice a year, and the candidates have to appear for CAT/XAT/GMAT along with MICAT.
The test is divided into three parts:
- Psychometric Test: This forms a qualifying section,
- Aptitude Section: This would contain Verbal Ability, Quantitative Ability, General Awareness, and Divergent-Convergent Thinking.
- Descriptive Test: essay writing and story writing.
Selection will be done based on MICAT score and followed by Group Exercise (GE) and Personal Interview (PI). MICAT is famous for testing conventional aptitude besides creative and divergent thinking ability, which is unique.

After that, the candidate has to click on the "MICAT Admit Card" link.
Login credentials- User ID and Password.
Download the admit card and take a printout for the exam.

How to choose an Exam Centre:
While filling up the application form, the candidate can select their preferred exam centre. MICA will try to allocate their preferred centres; however, the final allotment will depend upon the availability.
The admit card will contain the details regarding the exam centre.
Candidates will be expected to arrive at the allocated centre at least one hour prior to the test.
