AP NEET UG COUNSELLING 2024
The AP NEET UG (National Eligibility Entrance Test for Undergraduate), conducted by Dr. YSR University of Health Sciences, is the process through which seats are allocated to students into distinct governmental and private medical or dental institutions in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The procedure is designed to provide assistance to the students seeking admission into under medical courses (MBBS) and dental courses (BDS). 85% of seats will be offered by state-level counselling and 15% seats will be offered through MCC Counselling. AP NEET UG COUNSELLING is currently an ongoing process as it has begun from 9th August, 2024.
AP NEET COUNSELLING 2024 ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
As per the eligibility criteria set forth by Andhra Pradesh NEET counselling, a candidate must be at least 17 years, as of 31st December, 2024. The following specifications must be fulfilled by the candidates for them to be eligible for AP NEET Counselling rounds:
- Nationality: A candidate must be a citizen of India, or they must possess Indian Citizenship.
- Educational Background: Candidates must have completed 10+2 or their equivalent, with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as their core subjects.
- Proof of Domicile: Applicants must possess a domicile certificate of Andhra Pradesh as it is mandatory.
- Quotas: Candidates belonging to the general category are required to secure a minimum of 50% marks and applicants from SC/ST/OBC caste must obtain 40% marks in the qualifying test.
HOW TO APPLY FOR NEET UG COUNSELLING 2024:
To participate in AP NEET counselling 2024, applicants must carry out some particular steps to ensure successful registration for the counselling session. Here is a complete breakdown of the steps involved:
- Online Registration: The very first step is online registration. Applicants must visit the official website of Dr YSR University of Health Sciences. After clicking on the registration link, applicants must carefully fill out their application form with details, including candidate’s name, gender, date of birth, caste category, educational qualifications, email ID, mobile number and address.
- Documents Required: Applicants will be asked to upload the following documents:
- Recent coloured photograph with a white background with size ranging from 20kb - 50kb.
- Signature on a white paper with either blue or black ink (10kb - 20kb).
- Other necessary documents are as follows: NEET admit card, NEET UG scorecard, birth certificate, Caste Category Certificates (if applicable), Qualification Certificates, Aadhar card, Transfer certificate (If applicable), Domicile certificate and for fee exemption, candidates are required to submit their latest income certificate.
- After uploading the required documents, applicants must preview their uploaded images and ensure that their photograph and signature are clearly visible.
- Declaration and Final submission: Applicants must review all filled information carefully and if the details are correct, they will check the ‘Declaration Check Box’. After clicking on the final submission button, an application or registration number will be generated. Candidates will receive their application number and password via email and SMS.
- Application fee payment: Payment can be made through internet banking, Debit card, or credit card. After the payment is done, download the payment receipt for future use.
- Web counselling/Choice filling: Applicants must fill up their choices of institutes and courses according to their preferences. The choice filling rounds of NEET UG will be conducted into two rounds, which will further determine their seat allocation based on performance and preferences.

In order to download the allotment list of AP MBBS and BDS, applicants must follow the following steps:
- Candidates must click on the link of AP NEET Allotment list 2024, which will be provided.
- The follow-up screen will display Andhra Pradesh MBBS and BDS allotment list in a PDF format. Candidates can check their qualifying status by providing their roll numbers.
- Candidates must review their details mentioned in the column of their roll number, thoroughly.
