JEE Main 2025 Application Process, Eligibility Criteria
JEE Main 2025 Application Form: The entrance exam for prospective engineers in India is JEE Main 2025, which serves as a screening test for admission to esteemed engineering institutes such as National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). The National Testing Agency administers the two-stage computer-based exam (NTA).
The following information about the JEE Main 2025 Application Form must be reviewed by candidates :
- The JEE Main 2025 application form will be made available online.
- Registration for JEE Main 2025 will open the first week of November 2024.
- The application form can be submitted by candidates until the second week of December 2024.
- Upload your signature in the required format and passport-size photo while completing the application.
- If any details are found to be missing or inaccurate, the JEE Main 2025 application form will be considered incomplete upon final submission.
- Additionally, the authority will offer a repair facility for any errors (if any) in the application.
- Filling out several application forms will result in your candidature being rejected, thus just one application must be submitted.
Changes Made By NTA in JEE Mains 2025

In order to register for JEE Main, the candidate must choose one of the following options:
- To log in/create a Digi locker account through the NAD portal. Or;
- Using the ABC ID to register for or create an Academic Bank of Credits ID.
- Alternatively, you can use your Indian passport number to log in.
- Alternatively, use a non-Indian passport number to log in. or
- To access a PAN Card Number-based login. or
- Utilising an Aadhaar Enrollment Number to log in.
At the testing location, the candidate must choose their authentication options.
- Verify using your Aadhaar card.
- Verify with a legitimate government identification card and a photo.
- Candidates' selection of exam cities would be shown to them based on the current, permanent location they provided when registering for JEE Main 2025.
- Upon completion submission, candidates will receive an email address with a copy of their completed application. Additionally, candidates can download their forms using DigiLocker or the UMANG app
Note: Candidates must upload their "Self Declaration/Undertaking" in the format provided in the information brochure if they do not already have a Gen-EWS/OBC-NCL/PwD/SC/ST certificate.
JEE Main 2025 Application Fees
Candidates must pay the application fee to submit the JEE Main 2025 registration form. In addition, candidates who apply to more than one exam for various courses will have to pay a higher fee.

JEE Main 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria before applying for the JEE Mains exam 2025. Candidates fulfilling the below-mentioned eligibility conditions are eligible to fill the NTA JEE Main Application Form 2025
- Applicants who appeared in 2025 or who completed the Class 12 exam in 2023/2024.
- No upper age limit.
- Candidates for Paper 1 (BE/BTech) must have completed maths and physics in Class 12, along with any additional Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, or Technical Vocational subject.
- Candidates for Paper 2A (BArch) must have completed maths, chemistry, and physics in class 12.
- Paper 2B (BPlan) requires candidates to have completed maths in class 12.
JEE Mains Registration Documents 2025

JEE MAINS Registration Process 2025
The given steps can be followed to fill the JEE Main 2025 application form. It is recommended that candidates thoroughly fill out the application, ensuring that no errors are made.
Step 1: Enrollment First things first: Applicants need to register for JEE Main 2025 at jeemain.nta.nic.in. Upon selecting "New Registration," applicants must review the guidelines and complete the registration process by providing the following information:
- Name,
- A parent's name,
- Birthdate, gender,
- Identity type, and
- Present Address
- Permanent Address
Following verification of all the information submitted, the JEE Main 2025 application number will be produced and shown on the screen.
Step 2: Completing the Application: Candidates will next need to choose their test cities, question paper medium, nationality, category, and exam session. It is necessary to choose four exam cities in preference order.
Step 3: Uploading Scanned Documents: Following form completion, candidates must upload their scanned copies of their identification card and signature.
Step 4: Payment of Fee: Next, candidates will have to pay the JEE Main 2025 application fee online i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card/UPI as per their category and the number of selected papers.
Step 5: Print out Confirmation Page: Finally, candidates will have to print out the confirmation page for future use.

- Personal Information: Provide details like parent’s name, category (OBC if applicable as per NCBC), and nationality.
- Aadhar Card Information: Enter your Aadhar details (optional).
