MCC NEET UG COUNSELLING 2024
MCC which stands for Medical Counselling Committee is an organisation that works under the Directorate General of Health Services, i.e., DGHS. Currently, MCC is in control of allotting seats to candidates seeking admissions for undergraduate, medical and dental courses in government run colleges or universities. The counselling process will be grounded upon the students’ NEET 2024 scorecard. The process is very essential for allocating seats in various programs, such as MBBS and BDS.

MCC NEET UG COUNSELLING 2024 IMPORTANT DATES:
MCC NEET counselling dates for the year 2024 were announced on July 29. The MCC NEET Counselling Round 1 results were declared on August 25, 2024. The institute reporting process for the same was conducted from August 25, 2024 to August 31, 2024. On the other hand, the second round of MCC NEET UG 2024 Counselling process will be conducted from September 5 to September 10, 2024. MCC NEET UG 2024 COUNSELLING ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
Candidates participating in the MCC NEET UG 2024 Counselling must have qualified for NEET UG 2024 Exam with the required cutoff or above. The following specifications must be fulfilled by the candidates for them to be eligible for MCC NEET UG 2024 Counselling rounds:
- The minimum age limit for candidates is seventeen years.
- All candidates must be registered at the official MCC NEET website.
- All NEET qualifying candidates are eligible to take part in the Counselling process, including candidates from UT and J&K.
- Candidates who wish to apply for NEET Counselling 2024 under 85% state quota must be registered through state counselling portals.
- The candidates must be citizens of India, Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) or Foreign Nationals.
- The candidates must have passed 10+2 examinations from a recognized board.
- The state candidates must have a domicile certificate.
MCC NEET UG COUNSELLING 2024 REGISTRATION PROCESS:
There are several steps involved in the MCC NEET UG counselling process. The very first of it is registering yourself for the counseling.The steps involved in registration include:
1. Online Registration: Candidates have to initially register online on the official MCC Website by providing their NEET Roll number, Date of Birth, Registration Number and Name. Click ‘Confirm Registration’ after making sure that the details are correct. Now, the candidate is registered.
2. Fee Payment: After registration, the candidates will have to pay the fee. The fee is different for various categories:

- Choice Locking: After registration, the candidates must choose their preferred course, along with the college. Candidates must choose their course and choose the college from the displayed list.
- Seat Allotment: At the end of each counselling round, MCC will declare the seat allotment result accordingly. Candidates can check their allotment details on the official website.
- College Reporting: Once the college is allotted, the candidates must visit the college on the given date respectively, along with all their necessary documents.
WHAT ARE THE DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR MCC NEET UG 2024 COUNSELLING VERIFICATION:
Candidates who are qualified for the counselling process must carry the following documents with them:
- NEET 2024 Admit Card
- Class 10 and 12 Marksheets, along with Certificates.
- Caste Certificate (if applicable)
- NEET 2024 Result.
- Disability Certificate (if applicable)
- A government issued ID proof.
- 8 Passport-sized photographs (the same as submitted on the NEET 2024 application form)
- Seat Allotment Letter provided by MCC.
- Domicile Certificate (if applicable)

MCC NEET UG 2024 COUNSELLING RESULT:
MCC has declared the NEET 2024 counselling round one seat allotment result on August 25, 2024. Candidates are supposed to follow the given steps to check their seat allotment result:
- Candidates must visit the official MCC website. Then click on the UG Medical Tab.
- The result link, ‘Final Result of Round 1 NEET UG 2024’ would appear under the Current Events section,
- Candidates will download the PDF containing results, and will keep it saved for future.
