MAT Exam overview 2024
Management Aptitude Test is the National level entrance exam administered by All India Management Association(AIMA) since 1988. The objective of this programme is to facilitate Business Schools to screen candidates for admission to MBA and allied programs. Mat was approved as a National test By the Government Of India, Ministry of Education.
The Mat exam is conducted four times a year. The Mat exam is conducted in three different modes namely:
- Offline or Paper based Test
- Online or Computer based Test
- Remote or Internet Proctored Test

- The candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university.

MAT 2024 Registration and Application Process
The Registration for MAT 2024 can be done on the official website mat.aima.in. The registration are as following steps:
- Visit official website mat.aima.in.
- Register by entering the basic details of the candidates such as name, date of birth, place, email id,contact number etc,
- Select the mode of test preferred by the student
- Select 5 preferred B Schools.
- Complete the payment of examination fee.
- Upload recent passport photo and scanned signature.
- Click Submit to complete the registration
- Download the acknowledgement.

The process to download the MAT exam Admit Card are given as follows:

- Login to the dashboard with the registration number and password.
- click on the admit card notification link.
- Check all the details in the admit card for any mistakes.
- Download the admit card and take a hard copy.
- If any mistakes in the admit card kindly report to official authorities.
MAT 2024 Exam Results:
The results of the MAT exam 2024 are released on the official website mat.aima.in. the students can visit the official website and download the result scorecard using their login details. The MAT results are released in four phases. Based On the scores of the MAT exam the candidates can apply for various colleges in the country.
MAT Exam 2024 Cut Off
The MAT exam cut off is released soon after the results are out on the website. After the MAT cut off is released the candidates are invited for counseling and selection process. The cut off lists are prepared on the basis of factors such as difficulty in exam, number of candidates appeared, marks obtained by candidates, number of institutes participating.
MAT Exam 2024 Counseling /Selection process
The eligible candidates with desired cut off are to attend the counseling round where the colleges participating will conduct the selection process which has three following process:
- Written Ability Test
- Group Discussion
- Personal Interview
The final selection is based on the performance of the candidates in the above three rounds. The candidates can later complete the admission process by completing the payment process.
