The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination(OJEE) is an exam conducted by the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination Committee. Its vision is to provide a fair, transparent single window admission process for various professional Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses.
The committee will provide professional under-graduate courses such as B.Pharm, B.CAT, Lateral entry to B.Tech, Lateral entry to B.Pharma.
Postgraduate courses like MBA, MCA, M.Tech, M.Pharm, M.Arch, Integrated MBA, M.Sc. Computer Science in various universities, Govt colleges and private institutions in the state. This Committee is responsible for the counseling cum admission process of the above mentioned courses.
It also conducts Special OJEE exam to fill vacant seats left after B.Tech counseling via JEE main.
Eligibility criteria for OJEE exam: Candidates passed class 12 with an aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology(Botany and Zoology) all three taken together.
Firstly, the Candidate has to be dedicated and focused. Should make a timetable of her/his own in such a way that each topic of all subjects is covered and there is time to revise the syllabus.
The student has to distinguish between his/her strengths and weaknesses. The subjects with strong knowledge have to spend less time compared to weaker subjects.
Growing technologies impact candidates' preparations as some applications and websites prepare the student to solve the exam more efficiently by teaching them shortcuts, and giving mock tests.
Knowing the syllabus, having a planner from day one and avoiding last-minute preparation is highly recommended for any exam.
Along with work management and time management students have to know about stress management during the preparation level.
Self evaluating weekly once and understanding and rectifying the mistakes while learning helps a lot to have a clear view of the subject.
Communication skills are again a very important element as the student has to have good communication skills so he /she can give seminars or presentations on prescribed topics.
Active class participation involves good listening skills, communication with mentors, questioning skills, and reasoning ability.

Marking scheme of OJEE exam 2025:
Each right answer will get four marks.
Each wrong answer will reduce a mark.
An unattempted question does not have a negative marking.
