MBBS is the abbreviation used for the undergraduate course Bachelor of Medicine or Bachelor of Surgery. This medical program is for 5.5-year (4.5 years degree + 1 year internship) duration in India. - The first criteria for medical course admission is to qualify for the NEET exam conducted by National Agency Test(NTA).
- After qualifying the entrance exam, choose your region in which you prefer to study.
- As the results are announced, register for counseling via mcc.nic.in by filling in their NEET roll number,registration number,name, date of birth.
- After the registration process, get your documents verified through online or offline mode. In offline mode documents are verified by the authorities in the allocated counseling centers.
- Documents are verified in online mode by uploading the necessary documents via given websites.
- Attend two rounds of online counseling.
- Lock the colleges you want to study in decreasing order, if you're ok with allotted colleges in the first round of counseling, complete the payment and secure a seat. If not, attend the second round and still not find your preference to attend the Mop-up round.
- After MOP up round the left over seats are transferred to the management who then conducts the counseling online for those seats.
- After securing seats in the counseling, complete the payment process.
