Section-Wise IBSAT Syllabus 2024

 The IBSAT 2024 exam is divided into four sections : 

 Section 1 

Verbal Ability: This section has a maximum of 50 questions and covers all key elements of the English language, including grammar, sentence structure, vocabulary use, idioms, phrases, one-word substitutions, and scrambled paragraphs.

The exam tests both general aptitude and subject-specific understanding, with an emphasis on speed and accuracy.

 Verbal Ability syllabus 

    - Comprehension of passage (Syllogisms)

    - English Grammar (Punctuation)

    - Incorrect Words (English Usage)

    - Sentence Completion (Contextual Usage)

    - Analogies (Vocabulary)

    - Replace the missing words (Para Jumble)

    - Idioms (One-word Substitution)

    - Different usage of the same word (Fill in the Blanks)

 Section - 2 

Reading Comprehension: This section will contain 4-5 passages. There will be 4-5 questions with each of the paragraphs. Candidates will have to answer those questions after reading the reading comprehension.

 Reading Comprehension syllabus 

    - RC passages on Current Affairs, Business & Economics, Social Issues, Literature, and other topics

    - 3 RC passages of about 500-600 words and 1 RC Passage of about 400-500 words

    - 8 and 6 questions respectively

 Section - 3

Quantitative Aptitude: This section will test your mathematical skills, including arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and data interpretation.

 - Quantitative Aptitude:

    - Arithmetic (Time & Work, Simple & Compound Interest, etc.)

    - Algebra (Equations, Inequalities, Log, etc.)

    - Geometry & Mensuration (Lines, Triangles, Angles, etc.)

    - Modern Math (Permutation & Combination, Probability, etc.)

Data Adequacy and Data Interpretation: This section will test your ability to analyse and interpret data, including data visualisation and statistical analysis.
