NMAT SYLLABUS 2024

NMAT (NMIMS MANAGEMENT APTITUDE TEST) is a national-level entrance test conducted by the Graduate  Management  Admission Council (GMAC)for admission to MBA and other management programs offered by NMIMS( Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies). The purpose of this exam is to assess a candidate's aptitude skills. Over 30 Institutions, including NMIMS Accept NMAT scores for admission to their management programs. Candidates can register for the NMAT through the official website, usually starting in July or August. NMAT exam can conducted from October to December, with multiple testing windows.

NMAT SYLLABUS 2024

NMAT is a computer-based test whose difficulty level adjusts based on candidate performance using computer adaptive testing (CAT). The NMAT exam is designed by GMAC. It  involves 3 sections they are 

Language skills section: 

The language skills section mainly focuses on vocabulary and grammatical concepts. It tests your vocabulary skills and English language communication capabilities. This section is made up of 36 questions. The syllabus topic  of this section

 Logical reasoning:

The logical reasoning section tests your mental decision-making skills and your critical ability as well as your analytical skills. It majorly comprised of 36 questions. The section  of this logical reasoning

     Quantitative skills section:

This is the key part of the section that tests your mathematical skills and numerical and data interpretation skills. It contains 36 questions. The section consists mainly of number properties, Algebra, data interpretation, and data sufficiency.

 Number properties include percentage, profit and loss, time and work, time, speed and distance, simple and compound interest, factors, and decimals. 

Algebra includes series and sequence, equations and inequalities, permutations and combinations, and probability. 

Data interpretation covers caselets and tables, charts, and graphs. 

Data sufficiency involves arithmetic-based, number properties-based questions, algebra, and solved questions.

NMAT EXAM PATTERN 2024

NMAT EXAM is a computer-based test mode. Candidates can choose the sequence of the syllabus topic before the beginning of the exam. It has no negative marking. Totally 108 questions in 120 minutes( which is predetermined in section-wise time period).
